I really like the word fundus. I think it is a good time. Who knew the top of your uterus had such a great name? I would like it even more if when my guy Dr. Puckett measured me and my fundus everything would match up.

I went back to see him today and I am still measuring two weeks behind. I guess normally this wouldn't be a big deal but after my last ultrasound there was a four week difference between Baby Rocco's measurements and mine. So, since I am still measuring small I have to have another ultrasound to check out the size of Baby Rocco again next week. I personally kinda like the idea of him making his debut before then so that we can skip the whole thing.
In related news I really like Dr. Puckett.
In even more related news I really love my husband for leaving his big leather chair and game three of the Stanley Cup Finals to buy some ice cream for me.
Fundus...that's a word that I might have to add to my vocabulary :) "there's a fundus among us"

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't stress to much about measuring behind. I actually measured big with Bella. Starting at around 22 weeks, I began measuring 2 weeks ahead. By 36 weeks I was measuring 4 weeks ahead. When I had her everyone thought she was going to be huge and she was only 7 lbs. 1 oz. I truly think it's just how your carrying the baby, and now how big/not big they are.
