Luca went back to his roots last week. We took him to good ole Twilly to drop off a few things in my old classroom. He had spent the first nine months of his existence in that place I figured it would feel like second nature to him. A nice easy trip there and back with no fussing and maybe even a nap.
Last but not least we met up with Dr. Harris. Luca started off a bit shaky with her but after the threat of in school suspension and the song "The Wheels on the Bus" Luca decided she too was worthy of him not crying.
Hopefully we will get to visit again sometime when he is in a little better character. Until then, the moral of this whole blog entry is if you would like for my son to not cry you either have to send him postcards and emulate peace and tranquility or you have to sing to him "The Wheels on the Bus" and threaten him with in school suspension.
Half an hour car ride to get there was sure to put him to sleep in the car right?
Yeah not so much. To say the least it was not a good time for the Little man. As we walked into the building we were greeted by Pat. She is not only the brains behind the whole inter workings of the school she is also Luca's Honorary Grandma. This is what he did for her...
Next up was Kerri of course still screaming. (if you look closely you can see Big Daddy Scott looking mildly stressed in the background.)
Then we came to Mr. Phillips. This is Luca's Uncle Travelling John. He sent Luca his very first postcards ever. Luca loved them and to thank him for the gesture he sent Uncle Travelling John and his beautiful bride Polly Mae some hospital grade mesh underwear....that however is a completely different blog post. If you notice Luca is not screaming at him. I think that Mr. Phillips just exudes peace and tranquility. Luca is just feeling the love.
