Catch Up

It has been a LONG time since I have updated my blog...a good six months if not more.  I miss blogging.  I miss reading other people's blogs.  I am officially back into the swing of things.  So here goes-
The past six months have been jam packed.

We celebrated Luca's first birthday...TWICE. As you can see I made the whole family (poopies included) monster shirts to go with the theme.

I went back to work teaching first grade. Luca found a second home with Miss Ashley, Abram and Jeremiah.  They are truly the most wonderful people ever
Ashley is wondermom
not only to her little one but also to Luca.  I am forever indebted to her for taking such good care of my baby.  I am pretty sure he would trade me in for her in a heartbeat.  Within a few weeks of hanging out with them Luca came home using some sign language and bearing the cutest art projects you have ever seen.

Luca rode on the combine for the first time ever with his Dad and Grandpa Larry.  Pretty sure he had a blast.

We had a fun filled visit with Aunt Linny.  You may ask is there any other type of visit from her?  The answer to that is a big fat "NO!"
Halloween came and went.  Luca was a cowboy.  It only took and hour of screaming and wrestling to get half the outfit on.  In related news Halloween was almost cancelled at our house but as you can see it all worked out ok.  I think he is stinking adorable don't you?

My DREAMBOAT, Mike Matheny became the new Cardinals' manager.  I would consider leaving Scotty for him.  Just kidding...I think.

I went and picked out a Christmas tree that rivals that of any Griswald Family Tale.  It fell over numerous times before we finally figured out how to fix it.

Luca went to see Santa.  I think the pic says it all.
Finally we found out that our Hootchie had one possibly two sarcomas.  We had them removed a week ago today and are awaiting the results of the biopsy.

We are hoping and praying that they were able to get all of the cancer out of there.  We should know the results any day now.  In the meantime he has managed to split open one of his incisions.
NEVER A DULL MOMENT!!!!!

Merry Christmas from the Griswalds'  :-)
