Christmas time is full of wonderful, magical things. It is a special time of year full of surprises. This year there was a very exciting surprise waiting for my brother-in-law and nephew Nate when they headed out to the cattle barn on Christmas morning...
Jesus Calf-eee!!!!!
Aptly named by my tuff nutt Zach. I mean what else would you name a calf born on Christmas day?
Jesus Calf-eee was one of the cutest things I have EVER seen. The only thing cuter was Luca mooing back at Momma Cow.
Luca was mesmerized by the moo cows. I don't think I have ever seen him this excited. |
Here Zach is overseeing his brother Nate feeding Momma cow. Jesus Calf-ee is in the back ground. |
Luca wimpered "moooooo" all the way home. I felt so bad. He did not want to leave the cows. As soon as he woke up from his nap he got a HUGE grin on his face and MOO'd at me. It has pretty much been like that since we left the farm that day. I am going to blame Luca's Uncle Mikey if he grows up to be a cowboy.
